Scene7 Signs Reseller Agreement with Multimedia Live
Leading e-commerce solution provider adds Scene7’s Infinite
Imaging™ Platform to its e-commerce offerings
Novato, CA — May 11, 2004 — Scene7, the leading provider
of dynamic imaging software, today announced that Scene7 and Multimedia
Live, a leading developer of e-commerce technology and services for
Intelligent Selling™ on the Web, have signed an agreement that
allows Multimedia Live to integrate Scene7’s Infinite Imaging™
Platform into its MarketLive™ e-commerce application. This powerful
combination will enable customers to increase revenues and reduce
the time and costs associated with the development of rich, visual
e-commerce Websites. The two companies will also work together to
develop joint sales and marketing opportunities.
“We are pleased that Multimedia Live is partnering with us to
extend the reach of our Infinite Imaging™ Platform in the retail,
catalog, and brand manufacturing markets,” said Doug Mack, CEO
of Scene7. “The company’s depth of expertise in creating
e-commerce merchandising and transaction technology, coupled with
our integrated management and publishing platform for rich media,
will ensure that we deliver world class e-merchandising capabilities
to our joint customers.”
Scene7’s Infinite Imaging Platform increases sales and marketing
effectiveness by dynamically generating rich visual media for multi-channel
delivery. Enhanced visual effects such as zoom, colorize, texture
mapping and 360 spin can be applied to images on Web sites, creating
an immersive online experience. Scene7’s platform automatically
creates derivatives from single master images, eliminating the need
for offline manual image editing. Because these derivatives are generated
and delivered to the desired medium in real time, the time and costs
associated with image production are drastically reduced. Scene7’s
most recent addition to its platform is the Scene7 eCatalog solution,
which enables companies to publish their own printed marketing materials
online. Scene7’s eCatalog solution is the only available offering
in the market that allows companies to completely control the publishing
rather than having to depend on out-sourced virtual catalog services.
Scene7’s platform including its recent eCatalog solution is
fully integrated into Multimedia Live's MarketLive™ e-commerce
application. Together this powerful combination allows companies to
deliver superior visual merchandising features on one of the most
powerful, comprehensive e-commerce platforms today.
“The new Scene7 eCatalog offering fits right in to our MarketLive™
product strategy, and strengthens our already strong partnership with
Scene7,” said Ken Burke, Multimedia Live President and CEO.
“Scene7’s dynamic imaging solutions help us deliver visually
compelling e-commerce Websites for our customers that feature their
products in the best possible way.”
